After my admission to practice over 30 years ago, I spent periods in government including the TDA, Tax Office and private practice before leading my own firm, Bradfields, for many years. Looking to maybe retire and/or refocus my practice, I joined Tierney Law in 2013.
My practise has been mainly in business and family law, as well as estate and wealth planning.
My focus is holistic in nature, aiming to see Tasmania and my clients prosper. I believe in the power of lateral thinking and helping clients with problems before they become critical issues.
Exercise I believe is underappreciated in its effect upon health and wellbeing and so I have engaged in many sports including Real Tennis at international level. I also remain an active tennis player, squash player and cyclist.
I am trying to retire but I enjoy the collegiate atmosphere at Tierney Law too much for me to leave at the moment.
