I have lived in Hobart all my life, and the first part of my career was spent working at the Australian Taxation Office in Hobart, during which I obtained a degree in Commerce and became a Certified Practicing Accountant.  I am a Chartered Tax Advisor.

After working in the field of taxation law for many years I decided that my future lay in the law.  I returned to the University of Tasmania to obtain a degree in Law with Honours in 2006 and was admitted to legal practice in 2007.

I joined the team at Tierney Law in 2016.  My focus is on providing advice to clients on:

• wills and estate planning
• estate management
• trust law
• taxation and administrative law
• property and commercial law; and
• consumer law.

I see clients both in our Hobart and Sorell offices.

I serve The Tax Institute on its Tasmanian State Council.  I have also returned to my alma mater as a sessional lecturer in Taxation Law.

On weekends you will usually find me out on the water enjoying the River Derwent with friends.
